Terms of Service
अंतिम अपडेट 27 जून 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and HealthAtoms (Hormones River Media) governing your access to and use of HealthAtoms — our websites, knowledge base, guided courses, practice labs, certifications, and related services (together, the “Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you use the Platform on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to accept these Terms for it.
1. What HealthAtoms is
HealthAtoms is an educational platform for digital health and informatics: a unified knowledge base, guided courses, hands-on practice labs, and a certification ladder. It is a learning product, not a clinical, billing, or production health-IT system.
Every patient example on the Platform is synthetic — invented names, identifiers, and scenarios. The Platform must never be used to store, process, or transmit real patient information or other regulated health data.
2. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be able to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction and meet the minimum age set by your local law to create an account. The Platform is intended for healthcare professionals, allied-health and engineering practitioners, and students — not for children.
By creating an account, clicking to accept, or using the Platform, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
3. Your account and security
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@healthatoms.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
Provide accurate information and a real email address. Accounts are personal and for an individual unless a written institutional agreement provides otherwise. You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
4. Acceptable use
Use the Platform only for learning and other lawful purposes, and do not:
•upload, enter, or attempt to process real patient data or any personally identifying health information;
•disrupt, overload, or interfere with the Platform, or probe, scan, or test its security without our prior written authorisation;
•scrape, harvest, or bulk-extract content, or use automated means to access the Platform beyond normal use;
•copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute paid or gated content without permission;
•misrepresent your identity, impersonate others, or use the Platform to infringe anyone’s rights or applicable law.
5. Assessment and certification integrity
Certifications and credentials are earned through performance-based labs and assessments. You must complete assessed work yourself and must not cheat, collude, share answers, or use unauthorised assistance.
Credentials attest that you demonstrated specific competencies on the Platform. They are not a government licence, accreditation, or guarantee of employment, and they do not authorise clinical practice. We may withhold, suspend, or revoke a credential obtained through fraud, error, or breach of these Terms.
6. Educational purpose — not medical advice
Content on HealthAtoms is provided for professional education. It is not medical, legal, or financial advice and must not be used to make decisions about the care of any real patient. Always rely on current local guidelines, applicable regulation, and qualified professional judgement.
7. Your content and feedback
You keep ownership of content you create on the Platform (for example, lab work, notes, or app configurations built from synthetic data). You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Platform.
You are responsible for what you submit and confirm it contains no real patient data and infringes no third-party rights. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you.
8. Intellectual property and your licence
The Platform’s content, design, software, trademarks, and the HealthAtoms name and logo are owned by HealthAtoms (Hormones River Media) or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your own learning.
Free knowledge-base content may be read and cited with attribution to its canonical page. Paid content is licensed to you for personal learning only. Standards and terminologies referenced (such as HL7 FHIR, SNOMED CT, LOINC, ICD-10/ICD-11, RxNorm) remain the property of their respective bodies and are subject to their own licences.
9. Third-party standards, services, and links
The Platform teaches and references third-party standards and may link to or integrate third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, or availability, and your use of a third-party service is governed by that party’s terms.
10. Payments, subscriptions, and renewals
Much of the Platform is free. Where paid memberships, courses, or certification fees are offered, the price, billing period, and any taxes are shown before purchase. Prices may vary by region.
Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date; you can cancel at any time and retain access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
11. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data and forms part of these Terms. By using the Platform you also agree to that policy.
12. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis for educational use. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, and do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HealthAtoms (Hormones River Media) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from a decision made in reliance on Platform content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 100. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold HealthAtoms (Hormones River Media) harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Platform, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure, or where required by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) survive termination.
16. Changes to the Platform and these Terms
We are continually improving the Platform and may add, change, or remove features. We may update these Terms; we will post the updated version with a new “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in-product. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
17. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, except where mandatory local consumer law gives you other rights. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve any concern informally.
